Hi and welcome to my first official blog post (yay!). I am currently in my 2nd year at University of Portsmouth studying Media and Entertainment Technology and this blog will be related to one of my units. My digital photography unit is based on producing three separate tasks, one on self-portrait, one of interviewing and photographing a creative and finally, an experimental project. I had my first lecture of this unit a few days ago, which mainly explained the outlines and expectations for this unit (yawn!). But my lecturer also recommended getting started early on, which is what I am doing now, aren’t I good?!

Anyhow, i have started brainstorming on possible ideas for these three projects, mainly the interview and photograph a creative as this one, in my opinion, is the most difficult one for me. However I have managed to find a possible creative to interview, a vegetarian food and lifestyle blogger. I decided on this person as they post issues and tips on real-life problems, which, I believe, would make for a more interesting and real interview.

To make navigation easier between the different projects, I will be heading each post with the specific project that it relates to. I will also be posting my progression in all three projects throughout the next 6 months and I hope you all enjoy my work and my blog.
